Education //

Become a key
element to
research

A key element of the Orland Bethel Family Musculoskeletal Research Center is to encourage and support the education of trainees interested in the musculoskeletal field. We believe that education is the cornerstone of innovation and excellence in healthcare and are dedicated to fostering the next generation of leaders in the MSK field.

Bethel Musculoskeletal Research Center Summer Student Research Program (SSRP)

The goal of this 9-week SSRP is to provide undergraduate and medical students, from within and outside of The University of Pittsburgh, with a hands-on laboratory experience with mentorship and training in research methods and scientific presentation skills.

Students will attend weekly seminars on varying topics, hosted by BMRC Core Scientists. Recorded seminars will be available on the official BMRC YouTube channel.
