The Bethel Musculoskeletal Research Center (BMRC) BioBank recently achieved a significant milestone with the enrollment of its 500th patient and the collection of nearly 18,000 biological samples.

Each enrollment represents more than a number. It reflects a patient’s willingness to contribute to research and help advance discoveries that could improve care for individuals with musculoskeletal conditions, particularly rare and pediatric diseases where access to high-quality tissue samples is critical.

As the BioBank continues to grow, it is expanding its collection efforts across a broad range of musculoskeletal specialties, including spine, joint, hand, and foot & ankle procedures in both adult and pediatric patients. These specimens provide researchers with valuable resources to support innovative studies and accelerate translational research.
